NEWS - THE ATTENDANT wins JETS 2018.
The JETS scheme runs alongside the European Film Market at the Berlinale film festival. Writer/producer Fenella, writer/director Nicola and producer Dulcie Kellett pitched the film to an industry jury consisting of production companies, financiers and distributors from across Europe, the US and Canada. Following the pitch to a room of over one hundred people, THE ATTENDANT was selected as one of six winners for being ‘highly marketable’.
DULCIE KELLETT - Producer
We're pleased to announce that Dulcie Kellett has joined us as Producer. Dulcie has 12 years’ experience in TV and commercials, shooting all over the world. She produced the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds feature documentary ONE MORE TIME WITH FEELING which premiered at the Venice Biennale and was nominated for a Grammy. Her feature-length documentary about Rudolf Nureyev is due for a major theatrical release this summer.
A tough, young girl takes a job driving for a notorious criminal - until the night she accidentally kills his son and, in order to survive, frames someone else for the murder. Before she can get away with it she gets locked in an underground car park with the corpse in her boot and a bag full of cash.
What she doesn't know is she's being watched from the Control Room by the car park attendant. Meanwhile her boss is looking for his son and the cash.
During this terrifying night, the car park attendant tricks her into revealing what she has done, forcing her to re-evaluate her life.
All families have their baggage but for one Australian teenager, even her dead relatives are hanging around. An Australian comedy about a dysfunctional family - one of whom happens to be a ghost.
